This is my multi wheel project. I combined a bowl and a cylinder together to create a great fruit bowl. This was a very complex project, but it turned out great. Witht the dark blue glaze it makes the complex project simple.

This is another project that greatly represents my theme. I made this plate for my boyfriends dad. He is a HUGE Raiders fan so hand painted the mascot on along with the phrase "I love Raiders". He was very pleased with his present and it was really cool to see him enjoy it.

This is my favorite project of the semester. I am very proud of it and am very pleased with how it turned out. This is a very large bowl 13" wide by 6" tall. I love making big projects so this one was really fun to make. The glaze turned out really cool, I really layed the drips on thick and since the white runs really easy, the combination made the dripping effect really pop. How this applies to my theme is that I personalized this project to myself. I love big projects and adding drips

This is my hand and wheel project! I was a little rushed on this project so it didnt turn out quite how I wanted. The swirls engraved on the outside gives the project movement. I wish I added clear glaze to the outside so it didnt have the rough texture. But it works as a great hair tie holder:)

This is my lidded project. It was very difficult for me to make and took several attempts to make the lid fit, but I finally got it! I really like how it turned out! For the glazing process I covered my hands in glaze and cupped my hands around the surface to create hand prints. I also used glass on top of the lid so it has more visual attractions. I really enjoyed making this project.

This is another bowl that I created. I made this bowl a lot wider than it is tall which gives it a great surface area to paint the black tree on it. I love the use of this stain in the shape of a tree. It gives it a nature like appearance. It reminds me of the fall, which is my favorite season.

This is a bowl that I created with a very large amount of clay. This was a very enjoyable project to make! I made this for my mom to toss salads in. When I applied the glaze I really wanted to incoorperate a lot of colors so I really had fun with the dipping process! I love how this turned out, the colors really gave the bowl movement.

This is a bowl of choice that Mrs. Heideman had me experiment with. I used a cheese slicer in order to give the outer edge of the bowl have texture. When I used the black glaze i pictured it to turn out better with more contrast and form. But it did not. I am still happy with this project and I wish to experiment further with this technique.

For my choice project I chose to make a mug. This is a 3" by 4" cup. Although the design is simple it is very personal. I have applied the word "alpental" on it to signify my love for snowboarding, winter, and my home. The use of added snowflakes around the cup give it a consistant pattern and bring more meaning to the cup.

This is my final bowl. It is 4" by 5". I used shadow green glaze and applied swirls on the outside of it and a solid coat on the inside. The swirls on the outside give the bowl rhythm and fluidity. The transition from the inside to the outside of the bowl is continuous and flows nicely.
